Hi, I’m Rochelle! I like reflecting on life; from the little moments to the impact of cultures, media and everything in between, including ideas that are a bit left field and outside the box. I value the small things in life and believe that in a world that celebrates the big, bold and extroverted that there should also be space to honour quieter, simpler lives, traditions and reflections.
I focus on themes that anchor us as humans, exploring how various factors shift these anchors over time - and not always for the better. I write about moments that influence our perspective and invite readers to rethink how we process the world along with me.
This space is for personal reflections on pieces like music, movie, travel and book reviews - all of which contribute to our evolving culture. I also use this space to offer my professional services, which I’ve listed on my services page and I have combined the two to create a space that isn’t rigid; but instead open and rooted in projects with meaning.
The main purpose of this space is to put my thoughts into words and create a portfolio of reflections and writings. I hope it provides a little food for thought- whether it resonates or just offers a moment to pause and think. I enjoy working with others who want to have meaningful conversations, tell stories, explore deeper ideas and create content in this sphere. If you’re interested in working together on a writing piece, then I’d love to hear from you.
A little bit about me outside of writing is: I enjoy nature walks, old music, movies, true crime documentaries, landscape photography, wildlife shows, drawing, travel memoirs, cooking and spending time with my family. I enjoy peaceful places and my interests often shape my reflections and inspire the way I write.
